Carol Warner

Hoosick Falls – Carol D. Warner, 100, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Danforth Adult Home in Hoosick Falls, New York. She was the wife of the late Edwin Woods Warner, Esq., of Pulaski, NY.[private]

Carol was born on May 22, 1916, on Staten Island. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Dora (Judd) Dalton and predeceased by a brother Robert Dalton. While living in NYC, Carol attended the Arts Students League, and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Syracuse University in 1938. She began a teaching career at Pulaski Academy and Central School in Pulaski, NY and later earned her Masters Degree from SUNY Oswego. While in Pulaski, Carol was an active and faithful member of the Congregational UCC Church. In her later years, she pursued watercolor painting, creative writing, yoga, and taught drawing classes to other residents of Embury Apartments in Saratoga Springs, NY.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Kuperstock (Jeff) of Westminster, MD., and a son Warren Warner (Donna) of Greenwich, NY. Her grandchildren include Garrett, Sean, Ryan and Bethany Warner, Abby (Kuperstock) Dening, and Dr. Jacob Kuperstock. Great-grandchildren are Noah, Sadie and Samantha Warner and Owen Kuperstock. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Pulaski Village Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Danforth Adult Home through the funeral home. [/private]
