January 5, 2017 By eastwickpress

Judy Heffern, from Cossayuna, NY, came across a bed shawl that had once belonged to her mother-in-law. [private]Thinking someone else might have use for it, she offered it to Margaret LeStage, president of the auxiliary at The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls.

As luck would have it, the Hoosick Villagers Home Bureau had just inquired about a project that would benefit The Center. They copied the shawl pattern and with auxiliary members also getting involved, over fifty lovely bed shawls were made and given to residents as Christmas presents this year. Well done, ladies![/private]
