Retiring Teacher Praises St. Mary’s Academy

January 12, 2017 By eastwickpress

To the Editor: I have recently retired after 37 years of teaching. This was a wonderful vocation and where I retired from is truly noteworthy. [private]For the past 5½ years I had the pleasure and privilege to teach at St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls. I’ve worked in nine other excellent educational facilities, but St. Mary’s stands out as a real hidden gem tucked away on Parsons Ave. The notion of teaching the whole child truly happens there by very caring and capable educators. Not only are children’s academic needs addressed, their social, emotional, AND spiritual needs are met as well.

St. Mary’s is a school where a family can be assured their child will be safe in a loving, nurturing environment where they will receive interesting, high quality and challenging academic experiences. Families considering a private school for their children should definitely check out St. Mary’s. They will be very pleased and satisfied with all that is offered in this special place.

Respectfully submitted, Nadia Christy [/private]
