Sarah Allgood

New Lebanon – Sarah Larkin Allgood, 57, passed away at her home on January 1, 2017. She was the daughter of Anna Sweener Larkin of New Lebanon and the late Irving Larkin.[private]The one thing that made Sarah happiest was the time spent in the company of her family which she loved so dearly.Ob-Allgoodweb Whether it was going out for picnics, camping, barbecuing, or hosting family gatherings, she thoroughly enjoyed the time with her children and grandchildren.

Sarah is survived by her husband Robert Allgood, and together they shared 38 loving years of marriage. Her memory also lives on in her mother, as well as her two daughters; Janifer Allgood of New Lebanon, and Joann (Roy) Williams of Stephentown, her three grandchildren; Jason Allgood, Desiree Williams, and Anthony Williams, and her siblings; Fred (Johnnie) Larkin of California, Chuck (Denise) Geraldi of New Lebanon, Stewart (Laurie) Geraldi of New Lebanon, and Florence (Bill) Hyatt of South Carolina. She is also survived by several adored nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 9, at 6 pm at the Hall and Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY 43, Stephentown. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Sarah’s family for an hour before the service, from 5 until 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Sarah in a special way may make a donation for breast cancer research to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure , PO Box 13535 Albany, NY 12212. [/private]
