Shirley Howard

Hoosick Falls – Shirley A. Howard, 81, passed away on Monday January 2, 2017 at her residence on Second Street in Hoosick Falls. [private]She resided there with her daughter and her family. Shirley was the wife of William Howard Sr., who died in 1993.

Shirley was born on October 5, 1935, in Plattsburgh, New York, daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel (Pelkey) St John. She graduated from Booneville High School. Shirley worked at Walmart in Florida during the winter months and in Brunswick, NY in the summertime. She enjoyed reading and doing circle word puzzles.

Survivors include her children Chauncy Jones (Darrel), Cindy Hug (Bob), Christine Miclette (John), William Howard Jr., and Wayne “Skip” Howard (Liz), also several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to Katie and Aaron for the care they gave to their grandmother.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. [/private]
