Kenneth Cipperly

Walloomsac – Kenneth A. Cipperly, 69, of Walloomsac, New York, passed away on February 20, 2017. He was born November 27, 1946, son of William and Pauline (Rita) Cipperly, and grew up on the family farm on Breese Hollow Road.[private] He attended school at Hoosick Falls Central and then graduated from St. Joseph’s Business school in Bennington, Vermont. In addition to his early years working on the farm, he worked for many years at the present day St. Gobain company until he retired in 2005. He was an enthusiastic fan of HFCS and local high school sports and in recent years could often be seen at almost any home game. He enjoyed being able to watch his grandsons play in their baseball, soccer and football games. He was also an avid lifelong hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his garden.

He is survived by his son Daryl and grandsons Cole and Colin as well as sisters Sandra Burgess and Beverly Lohnes and brother William Cipperly, Jr; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Harry and Donna; brother James; and brother-in-law Charles Lohnes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in support of the Hoosick Falls Central School athletic program to H.F.C.S. Sports Program.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 23 at 5 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY. [/private]
