Panther Girls Defeat Schuylerville To Advance, 56 – 30

The Class B, number 4 seeded Panthers hosted the #13 Schuylerville Black Horses Tuesday evening in the Panther Den. Kelly Pine led the way with 29 points, including 11 in the third quarter.[private]The Panthers jumped out to a 10-2 first quarter lead and increased it throughout the game. The game was sloppy at times, with both teams struggling to control turnovers. By the end of the third quarter, the Panthers held a 44-19 lead and were on cruise control.

To go with Pine’s 29 points, Eliza Whitman scored 12, Logan Thayne had seven, Sydney Miller and Ally Burdick added four.

With the win, the Panthers advance to face the winner of the #5 Hudson, a winner over #12 Emma Willard, 46-24. The game will be on Saturday, February 25 at Glens Falls High School. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm.
