Sandra Carter

Sandra Bass Carter, 54, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Monday morning, January 30, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.[private]

Sandra was born in Bennington, VT, a daughter of Thomas and Patricia Liporace Bass.

She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach and was an RN/Nurse Manager at South Strand Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she will be greatly missed by her husband, Ronald L. Carter; 4 siblings, Cathy (Mark) Klebbe, Peggy (Rob) Cottrell, Mark (Patti) Bass and Sharon (Kristi) Bass; sister-in-law, Charity Hayes; her best friend whom she loved as a sister, Michelle Davies.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, February 25 at the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. [/private]

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Avenue N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York.
