Burdick and her teammate Liz Ryan were a pair that struck fear into all their league competitors. The teammates will both be attending Division I schools, with Ryan attending the University of Albany. Burdick is the second leading scorer and seventh in assists in HFCS field hockey history. Her offensive firepower will be a welcome addition to the Bryant University Bulldogs, who scored 28 goals in a 4-14 season last year. Asked about her favorite memory at HFCS, Burdick replied, “Taking Whitney Point in the state quarterfinals to three overtimes before they could win. They went on to be state champions, so that was quite a thrill.”  [/private]
