Grace Christian School Participates In ACSI Math Olympics

On March 9, 2017 six Christian schools came together for a math competition, otherwise known as ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) Math Olympics. [private]] After a short welcome, students were divided by grade level and category to take paper and pencil assessments.  The two categories tested were computation and reasoning.  One hundred one students competed for ribbons. 

All Grace Christian School participants are pictured above.

Congratulations to all of those who participated and placed!  The following GCS students placed in their grade level and category: Third Graders Taylor Slate (1st), Elise Wensley (2nd), Colden Powers (2nd), and Addison Barton (5th), Fourth Grader Vincy Chan (4th), Fifth Grader Joyln Fang (2nd), Sixth Graders Samantha LaRoche (4th), and Jassie Fang (5th), Seventh Graders David Neimi (2nd), Lilah Aalderink (3rd), and Romeo Steadman (4th), Eighth Graders Kamryn Capriola (1st), Cindy Chen (1st), Jacob LaRoche (2nd), Lily Slate (3rd), and Jayden DeCell (5th).
