Be The Match Donor Event And Fundraiser For Margaret Stein

Friends and family are sponsoring a fundraiser for Margaret Stein on March 12 at the soon-to-be-opened Olde Hoosick Tavern from 12 – 4pm. [private]Margaret is in need of a stem cell transplant for leukemia and needs our help in paying for medical expenses and frequent travel to and from Boston for extended treatment. . Fundraising event will be loads of fun with food, soft drinks, live music with Jack Empie and Friends and a silent auction of some really cool stuff!  $20 donation. At the same time, there will be a “Be the Match” bone marrow donor drive to register people as potential donors.

Patients are desperately searching for a match and YOU may be the one!  To join the drive you only need to be between 18 and 44, be willing to donate to any patient in need and meet health guidelines The Olde Hoosick Tavern is located at4324 Rt. 7, Hoosick, NY; eight miles east of the Tomhannock Reservoir.
