Thursday Dinners To-Go Now Offered By Hoosick Kitchen Catering

No time to cook?  Want a home-cooked meal for two in the comfort of your own home?  No problem, Hoosick Kitchen Catering has you covered.

[private]Hoosick Kitchen Catering now offers ready-to-eat meals to take home and enjoy.  Orders must be placed by Monday for Thursday pickup between 4 and 7 pm at The Hoosick Kitchen in The HAYC3 Armory, 80 Church Street in Hoosick Falls.

According to chef Christina White, “We’ve been quietly testing the take-home meal concept and have landed on a portion size and choice of selections that works for busy people who either don’t have time to cook or simply don’t like to cook.”

Each week five options will be made available.  A sampling of a week’s menu options Ground Turkey, Tomato and Chickpea Stew, Garlic Crostini, Mixed Green Salad, Potatoes Au Gratin, Meat Lasagna, Garlic Bread, Lentil Soup, Spinach Salad with Olives, Tomatoes and Cucumbers, Balsamic Glazed Chicken with Tasty Beets, Baked Cheese and Broccoli Patties, Mediterranean Vegetable Salad, Cod Cakes with Green Onion Mayonnaise, Roasted Broccoli, Coleslaw, Herbed Rice Pilaf, Eula Mae’s Short Rib Jambalaya, Braised Greens with Ham, and White Beans Eula Mae’s way.  Vegetarian options are also available for each meal. The cost per meal is $30 with portions generally sufficient to feed two.
