Cheney Library Announces Winners of Peepalooza Contest

April 6, 2017 By eastwickpress

submitted by Carol Gaillard

Cheney Library in Hoosick Falls had a Peepalooza Contest for the month of March.
[private]Students bought Peeps and created dioramas of their favorite stories or characters using the Peeps. The dioramas were all wonderful and a lot of thought went into their creation.

The following students created dioramas: Kacie Taber (The Nutcracker Ballet Mystery by Nancy Drew); Kylie Taber (Sleeping Beauty); Dylan Yarnal (I Survived the Great Chicago Fire by Lauren Tarshis); Andrew Shiland (The Wise Black Bird); Collin Smith (an Indian story); Zeke Becker (an Indian story); Dylan Callahan (Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborn); Hailey Bussey (Warriors, Into the Wild by Erin Hunter); Scarlett Bussey (The Titanic).

The 2017 winners of the Peepalooza Contest are: first place Titanic by Scarlett Bussey; second place Wise Black Bird by Andrew Shiland; third place an Indian story by Zeke Becker; and tied for fourth place an Indian story by Collin Smith and I Survived the Chicago Fire by Dylan Yarnal. Congratulations to all who entered the contest!

We are so happy that so many students entered. We will host another Peepalooza next year so start thinking about what you would like to create! [/private]
