Driver Fails To Make Corner

April 28, 2017 By eastwickpress

The driver of a Jeep failed to negotiate a corner just outside the village line on Clay Hill Road on Sunday afternoon, April 23, ending up with the Jeep on its side in the ditch. [private]A witness later said “He went around the corner (at Mechanic and Cumming Street) very fast – it looked like he was on two wheels. I yelled at him to slow down.”

The vehicle then went up the hill and missed making the corner at Dundee Avenue. With the vehicle on its side, it was easy to see that the vehicle was missing a right rear shock absorber, which probably didn’t help the handling. The Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, Hoosick Falls Fire Department, Hoosick Falls Police and Rensselaer County Sheriffs Department responded to the scene.  [/private]
