A Pair Of Lot Line Adjustments

By Doug La Rocque

Surveyor Bill Darling represented the parties in two lot-line adjustment proposals that came before the Planning Board on Monday April 17. [private]The first was a very minor adjustment between Raymond and Patricia Dufour with Nicola and Angela Petitti. The parties proposed to swap a very small portion of land to ease what Darling called a “choking off” of the Dufour’s driveway. The properties involved are along Madonna Lake Road.

The second was more significant, involving the transfer of 9.27 acres of land currently owned by Bill Moss to Bill Crandall.  The land in question is along Blue Factory Road.  This would leave Mr. Crandall with about nine acres for his homestead.  The board voted to accept both proposals and accompanying SEQRA forms and set Monday, May 15 at 6:45 pm as the time for a public hearing on the Dufour/Petitti adjustment.  The public hearing on the Moss/Crandall transfer will take place the same night at 6:55 pm.  The Board will act on the proposals at their meeting, immediately following the hearings. [/private]
