Boys Fall To Maple Hill, 9-8, Move Into Sectional Play

May 18, 2017 By eastwickpress

The boys lacrosse team played Maple Hill Tuesday evening at the Helft Soccer Fields in Hoosick. [private]The Panthers got off to a slow start, giving up three goals before scoring one of their own. From there, the Panthers slowly chipped away at the Wildcats lead.

By the middle of the fourth quarter, the Panthers were down just two goals and momentum was on their side. With two and one-half minutes to go, Hoosick Falls scored to get the Maple Hill lead to one. The Panthers scrapped for that one final goal to tie it up, but time ran out before they could get it.

Justin Lapage scored three goals, Guy MIlliman had two, Micaleb Pelton, David Everard, and Becker Zaine each had one goal.

The Panthers move into sectional play next week. [/private]
