HFCS Boys Baseball Loses Two Close Ones

HF 1 – Waterford 2 

At Waterford HS, Monday, May 1. Hoosick Falls took a 1-0 in the first inning but that would turn out to be their only run of the game in falling to Waterford. [private]Waterford scored one run in the fourth to tie the game and one more in the seventh to take the lead and win the game. Ryan Sanders had a double, a single and an RBI.

HF 8 – Tamarac 10

At HFCS, April 28.

Tamarac needed two extra innings to win the game after the first seven innings resulted in a 7-7 tie. Tamarac was ahead 5-0, when HF came back in the bottom of the fourth inning with four runs of their own to get back in the game. The Bengals added one more in the top of the fifth, then the Panthers added one in the sixth. Hoosick Falls got one in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extra innings. The Bengals got two runs in the top of the ninth while the Panthers were able to only put one across the plate in the bottom of the inning. Tyler Lindsey went 4 of 5 including a double, 3 RBIs and one run scored to lead the Panther offense.  [/private]
