John Tyler Glover

May 25, 2017 By eastwickpress

Hoosick Falls – John Glover was born on May 25, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James Paul Glover and Myrtle Electa Nichols Glover.[private] He was the second of three children, having an older and younger sister. John spent much of his life in Phoenix, Arizona and worked for the State of Arizona as an orderly in the state hospital.

After his retirement, John and his mother moved to Hoosick Falls, to be near his aunt. When independent living became difficult, John moved to the Danforth Adult Home in Hoosick Falls where he made many friends. In recent years, John resided at The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls where he died on May 5 at the age of 91.

John was a friendly man with an outgoing personality and healthy sense of humor. John was deeply grateful for the care and compassion he received while at The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and the Danforth Adult Home.

He is survived by the residents and staff of The Center and The Danforth as well as his friends at The Hoosick Baptist Church. At his request, there were no services. Interment is in Phoenix Memorial Park. [/private]
