Olive Sluzas

Hoosick Falls – Olive M. Sluzas 93, passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the Centers for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls, New York.[private] Olive was the wife of the late Victor Sluzas.

Olive was born on July 16, 1923, daughter of the late Richard and Emily (O’Dell) Albergine Sr. She was a 1940 graduate of Hoosick Falls High School and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Hoosick Falls.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia Popson (Brian) of Hoosick Falls, brother Raymond Albergine of Cambridge, New York, granddaughter Kelly Paulin of Hoosick Falls, three great-granddaughters, Ailish Paulin and Jenna and Victoria Backes, as well as nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by a daughter Mary Anne Stone, a sister Anita Bump, two brothers Paul and Richard Albergine and a grandson Jonathan Stone.

Funeral services were held on Friday May 5, at 11 am from the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. Friends and relatives called at the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hoosick Falls Rescue Squad through the funeral home.  [/private]
