he Berlin Volunteer Fire Department and The Berlin Volunteer Rescue Squad are once again sponsoring the Frank Jones Memorial Scholarship and the Wilma M. Anderson Memorial Scholarship, respectively.[private]
Both Scholarships will be awarded to a Town of Berlin resident and Graduating High School Senior of the Class of 2017. Scholarships will be announced during the graduation ceremony at the Berlin Central MS/HS on June 23.
These awards are offered in recognition of the unselfish dedication of both Frank Jones and Wilma Anderson. Their commitment not only to the Company, but also to the community is an example we should all strive to live up to. Both awards are for $600 per year for up to four years for a total of $2,400.
