Patricia Gundrum

Petersburgh – Patricia Ann Gundrum, 79, of Petersburgh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4. Born on April 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leona Etman.[private]

Patricia was raised in the Poestenkill and Grafton areas. She graduated as the valedictorian of the Berlin High School class of 1956. After high school, she started her family and spent much of her life being a homemaker. In later years, she worked at WJ Cowee in Berlin until her retirement.

Patricia loved to spend time doing puzzles and baking for her family. She also enjoyed listening to and singing gospel songs, and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Petersburgh. Patricia is survived by her five children; Cynthia (Charles) Minkler, Wayne (Tammy) Gundrum, Cheryl (late Gregory) Stevens, Bill (Kim) Gundrum, and Anna (Scott) DeGiorgio. She is also survived by her siblings; Raymond “Bunk” (Diane) Etman, and Lenore “Dolly” (Ralph Oakes) Crandall, as well as by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Clifford A. Gundrum, as well as by her siblings; Franklin Etman, Felix Etman, Norma Gentner, Shirley Minkler, and Artell Etman.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 12 pm at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh. Visitation will occur prior to the service, from 10 am until 12 pm. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery
