James Toohey

Hoosick Falls – James H. Toohey, 69, passed away on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls.[Private] He resided on Rogers Avenue and was the son of the late James F. and Helen (Minkema) Toohey. James was born in Troy, NY, on February 21, 1948. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was employed by Norm Limousine in North Adams, MA, as a driver for several years.

Jim enjoyed driving people, talking with people, nights at Stewart’s. He was a member of the V.F.W. Jim is survived by his sister Marie Toohey of Rockledge, Florida.

Funeral services were held Saturday July 8, at 10 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Friday July 7 from 6 to 8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the V.F.W. or any local veteran’s program.[/Private]
