Both vehicles were traveling south just north of Johnson Hill Road when a Toyota pickup driven by Donald Telford, 44, of Eagle Bridge ran into the rear of a full size Ford pickup truck driven by Jeff Hunt, 56, of Cambridge after Hunt braked unexpectedly.

Hunt was transported to the hospital by the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad after a neck collar was placed on him. Telford was uninjured. The Toyota received extensive front end damage while the tailgate of the Ford was crushed in. The NY State Police, Village of Hoosick Falls Police and Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad and North Hoosick Fire Department responded to the scene.
