Hoosick Falls Golfers Wrap Up Very Successful Season

Hoosick Falls took a loss against Greenwich at the Battonkill Golf Club 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. Ryan Bloomer from Hoosick Falls won against Mason Williamson 4-3 Reed Boduch from Greenwich won against Mathew Smith 3-2

Connor Smith from Hoosick Falls tied Jake Owens Dawson Polley from Greenwich won against Miles Smith 4–3 Stephanie Merwin from Hoosick Falls won against Darren Pemrick 3-2. Stephanie shot her best competitive score of 49.

Which brings us to a tiebreaker where Tyler Ziehm from Greenwich won against Brady Hathaway 2-1

Medalist went to Ryan Bloomer from Hoosick Falls who shot a 37. Hoosick Falls overall score is 10 wins and 3 losses – Greenwich has 11 wins and 1 loss.

Hoosick Falls played their last home match at the Hoosick Falls Country Club against Cambridge for a 5-0 win. It was also a celebration as Connor Smith and Stephanie Merwin celebrated Senior night in which they gave flowers to their Moms and enjoyed pizza and cupcakes with their family and teammates. Congratulations to our two Hoosick Falls Seniors!

Connor Smith from Hoosick Falls won against Ben Epler 5-3

Mathew Smith, Miles Smith and Stephanie Merwin from Hoosick Falls all won by default.

Medalist went to Connor Smith from Hoosick Falls who shot a 37. Hoosick Falls completed their match play season with 11 wins and 3 losses.

Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith, Connor Smith and Miles Smith will compete on September 26 in the WASAREN League Invitational held at The Country Club of Troy.

Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith and Connor Smith will also move on to play in Sectionals at McGregor Links in October.

The Hoosick Falls Varsity Golf Team would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hoosick Falls Country Club, parents and community for all their support!

The WASAREN League Teams got together Friday for the annual Chicken Parm Tournament at the Mechanicville Country Club. Hoosick Falls Panthers won with a score of 6 under par. Congratulations to Connor Smith, Stephanie Merwin, Ryan Bloomer and Coach Hatfield.10
