Paul H. Cipperly

Paul H. Cipperly, 68, passed away on Friday October 13, after a two year courageous battle with cancer at Bennington Health & Rehab. He resided on Cipperly Road with his wife Joyce A. (Hoag) Cipperly.

Paul was born in Bennington, Vermont, on May 5, 1949, son of Marion H. (Siemens) Cipperly and the late Paul B. Cipperly. Paul graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School class of 1968. He was a dairy farmer all his life owning and operating the Boilingbrook Farm on Cipperly Road with his family. Paul was very active in the farming community and was a member of the Tri-County Holstein Club, NYS Holstein Club, he was also a Board Member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County. He enjoyed family reunions, farm auctions, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, softball games and all sports especially ones his grandchildren played.

Survivors other than his mother and wife include their children Keith (Teresa) Cipperly and Rachel (Steve) MacNeil, grandchildren Amber and Connor MacNeil ,Caroline and Aaron Cipperly.

Funeral services will be Friday October 20th at 7:00 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 pm until the start of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund or the Hoosick Fire Department through the funeral home.
