Cambridge Girls To Class C Final Four

The Cambridge Girls basketball team has earned its way into the final four of the New York State Class C championship by defeating Seton Catholic of Plattsburg, 75-50, on Wednesday, March 7 at Saratoga High School.

With that win, Saturday, March 10, the team traveled to Canton, NY to face Madrid-Washington, whom they easily defeated, 60-36, to punch their ticket to the semi-finals this weekend. Sophie Phillips scored 17, Helen Mooney had 15 and Bridey Nolan added 12. Cambridge faces Millbrook on Friday, March 16 at Hudson Valley Community College with a scheduled tip-off time of 10 am. The championship game will be Saturday, March 17, at HVCC beginning at 4 pm.
