Geneva D. Daniels

Petersburgh, NY

Geneva Doris Hathaway Daniels, 77, died peacefully Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Otis, MA, she was the daughter of the late Myron A. and Emogene K. Besaw Hathaway. Following her marriage, she moved to West Stockbridge, MA.

She was employed as a home health aide for Lee Visiting Nurses Association for 21 years before retiring 15 years ago. She moved to Petersburgh in 1992.

Geneva was also a homemaker and enjoyed casino trips, bingo, playing cards and scrabble.

She was the wife of the late William Henry Daniels; beloved mother of Rusty Crane of West Stockbridge, MA, Gary (Susan) Crane of Sheffield, MA, Kathy (William) Gray of Richmond, MA, Shari Crane of Stephentown, NY, Randy (Melissa) Crane of San Antonio, TX, Terri (Beth) Crane of New Hampshire, Jesse (Melissa) Crane of Stephentown, NY; sister of Elizabeth Patten of Petersburgh. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home in Petersburgh.
