Patricia Ann Finzer

Shaftsbury, VT

Patricia Ann Finzer, 80, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, Bennington, Vermont. She resided on Maple Hill Road in Shaftsbury with her husband Alan Finzer.

Patricia was born on June 7, 1937, in Hoosick Falls, New York, daughter of the late Clarence and Mina (Sterling) Myers. She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School. Patricia worked for Albany Felt Company, Tansitor Electronics and the state of Vermont as a Social Worker. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed working in her garden.

Survivors other than her husband Alan include their son Allen Finzer, of North Hoosick, sister Gail Morin of Hoosick Falls, brother Terry Myers (Deborah) of Babcock Lake, sister-in-law Andra Wheeler and Family, Granddaughter Britta Main, also several nieces and nephews. Patricia is predeceased by a brother William Myers.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 11 at 2 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow the service at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Shaftsbury, VT.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
