Unihog, a new restaurant in Hoosick Falls specializing in BBQ, opened the doors for full service last Friday, July 27.
Located at 2 Center Street in the village, between the Youth Center and the railroad tracks, the restaurant offers an a-la-carte type menu. A typical dinner ranges from $13 to $15.

Pork, brisket, turkey and chicken are available. Mac and cheese, cucumber and potato salad and bean medley, Mexi slaw and cornbread make up the sides.
The foods come from local farms, grass fed beef from the Berle Farm in East Hoosick and pasture raised pork from the Kyer Farm, located in White Creek. Supplies of vegetables come from Happening Chance Farm in Cambridge and chicken products from Cornell’s Farm in West Hoosick. The owners also travel to the Troy and Cambridge Farmers Markets to get the freshest foods available.
Food service hours are 11am until 9 pm, Wednesday through Saturday. With the liquor license secured, the bar will serve beer and wine. Bar hours will be from the 11 am opening with no set closing time. Wi-Fi is also available on site. Catering is available.
The easiest access is from Route 22 (River St.), then down First Street to Center Street. There is plenty of parking next to the building on the side away from the street.
