The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls (CNR) —a skilled nursing facility serving the needs of Hoosick Falls and the surrounding communities—is pleased to welcome David Lovelace as administrator. Lovelace has more than 10 years of experience in the field.
“We are pleased to have someone with David’s skills and background join this team of dedicated professionals,” said Gregory Laurin, president of the CNR Board of Directors. “We have confidence that he will enhance our ability to fulfill our mission to provide a rich and personalized environment for every resident and patient in our care.”

Lovelace earned his master’s degree in Health Services Administration at Sage Graduate School in Albany, and a bachelor’s in biology from Colorado State University. He has worked as an administrator at Indian River Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Granville, and Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Creek.
In addition, he served as interim administrator at Providence Care Center of Lenox in Lenox, MA, and at the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York Firemen’s Home in Hudson. Most recently, he has worked as a senior living account representative and a senior living regional sales executive. He is a licensed multi-level administrator by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and a licensed nursing home administrator in New York and Massachusetts.
CNR joined in a partnership with Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) to improve care for patients and residents in 2017, when SVHC was instrumental in assisting CNR to receive a $2.9 million grant from the New York State Department of Health Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program. Grant funds are being used to make infrastructure improvements to the CNR facilities.
“The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a vital service for the Hoosick Falls region,” said Thomas A. Dee, FACHE, president and CEO at SVHC. “We rely on CNR to care for our New York patients after they are discharged from Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, so it is critical that we work together to ensure CNR is successful. That’s why we are pleased to have David join CNR in this important role.”
