The Village of Hoosick Falls received a grant from the NYS Department of State Office of Planning, Development and Community Infrastructure to conduct a comprehensive community-based waterfront revitalization plan. To create a successful and inclusive plan, participation from members of the public like you is needed. To that end, there will be a Public Workshop on Wednesday, September 12 at the new Unihog BBQ at 2 Center St. in the village.

The plan will address enhancements to the Hoosic River and Woods Brook shorelines such as improvements to accessibility, resiliency, development, and connections to key community destinations. This workshop will be focused on establishing the vision of the Hoosick Falls Waterfront, goals that will help achieve it, and specific actions – such as improving access points to the river Downtown – that will help us get there.
Local Citizens, Business Owners, Property Owners, Non-Profit Organizations, Government Officials, Developers and Realtors, Lenders, and Special Interest and Advocacy Groups are all invited to attend and join in the conversation.
