The long awaited new Stewarts Shop at the corner of Route 22 and Elm Street in Berlin opened its doors last Wednesday, August 1. The date for a formal grand opening is yet to be announced. The gas pumps, tanks and equipment in the old store will be removed, and it will be put up for sale.
According to residents, the biggest advantages of the new store are more gas pumps, including a diesel dispenser, and much more parking.
