Petersburgh Fire Department Banquet And Clamsteam

Members and invited guests gathered at the Berlin Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, July 28 to install the 2018 officers, and generally enjoy a day off from the 24-7-365 role of being a volunteer firefighter. The Hoosick Fire Department was kind enough to provide coverage in Petersburgh for the day.

Members gathered for a Chicken Bar-B-Que and Clam Steam, and took time to honor some of the members who have, in effect, devoted a lifetime of service to the department and their community.  These include Chief Mike Lindsey – 31 years, Charlie Carr – 35 years Bill Seel – 36 years, Dick Snyder – 36 years, Terry Neaton – 38 years, Ben Krahforst – 41 years, Ziggy Krahforst – 49 years and King of them All, Earl Brock – 52 years.

Installed for his second year as Chief was Mike Lindsey, Mark Murray-Assistant Chief, Earl Brock – Captain # 1, Pat Adrion – Captain # 2, Mike Harrison – Captain # 3, Shawn Babcock – Safety Officer, Nathan Michaels, Safety Officer, Charlie Carr-Captain Fire Police, Ziggie Krahforst – Lt. Fire Police, Katie Snyder – Secretary, and Martin Conboy – Treasurer. 

Auxiliary Officers are Shannon Morgan – President, Nina Morgan – Vice President, Sue Bedford – Secretary and Barb Snyder-Treasurer.
