The view from Anse Sweet’s Hill looking eastward in 1909. Note the Petersburgh Baptist Church, an iconic piece of the town’s history, which remains a very viable part of the community 109 years later.
These photos are from a collection compiled by Petersburgh resident Richard Weaver, and donated to the Petersburgh Public Library by his grandson, Rensselaer County Undersheriff Ed Bly. The entire photo album is on view at the Library during its normal hours.
