Hoosick Falls Central School graduate Noordin Said brought professional basketball players Quinn Cook (pictured) and Briana Hartley (inset) for a visit to HFCS last week to talk to and work with players from local schools in the area. Cook, formally a star for the Duke University Blue Devils, currently plays for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA. Hartley played for the University of Connecticut and currently plays for the New York Liberty of the Women’s NBA.

All proceeds went to the Hoosick Falls Community Center (Youth Center). Said, currently employed by the Golden State Warriors, has worked with many professional basketball players. He is Hartley’s uncle.
