August 8, 2018 By eastwickpress

By Doug La Rocque

According to Rensselaer County Officials and Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) personnel, a resident of the road on the north side of Grafton heard quite a noise on Sunday afternoon, August 5. Upon investigation, witnessed two juveniles dumping a boat along the road.  That resident was able to get a license plate of the boat trailer.

When Sheriff’s deputies looked further into the matter, they found DEC officials were already investigating  the pair for other items dumped in the same location.  Other than to indicate they are from Pittstown and Schaghticoke, the alleged perpetrators are not being named, as they are being afforded juvenile offenders status at this time.  Both will appear in court at a later date.
