Members of the Petersburgh Rescue Ambulance Squad held a Memorial Service on Saturday September 22 where they unveiled a new monument to those who helped create and served with the squad, but have since passed on. The monument reads “In Memory of all our deceased members who have served the Petersburgh Rescue Ambulance Squad. Committing themselves to their Community, County & State.

Thank you to each of them from the bottom of our hearts! Incorporated October 1975.” The ceremony began with the raising of the American flag for the first time, on the new flagpole that was erected just one day prior to the ceremony.
Refreshments followed, as well as a blood pressure clinic and goodie bags for the kids.
