On Saturday, September 8, members of the Mary McClellan Hospital & Skilled Nursing Facility (1917-2003) employees had a great time greeting their friends and co-workers, some of whom had not seen each other in years. There were many laughs and surprises plus lots of good food served at Perry and Betty Young’s collections in Cambridge. A special collection was taken to benefit the Cambridge Historical Society and Museum. There was a special remembrance in memory of those who have passed away.

From 1 to 4 pm the Cambridge Historical Society Museum on Broad St. was open to visitors. Many people enjoyed pouring over many pictures and memorabilia. All artifacts from the hospital are safely and historically housed and displayed there. The museum is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 3 pm or by appointment until November, then again in the spring.
Everyone who attended had a wonderful time renewing old friendships. “Oh my goodness! I haven’t seen you in years!” was heard many times over. There will be a yearly reunion so watch for advertising next summer.
