Bloomer Gets Hole-In-One

On September 12, in a golf match against Mechanicville, Hoosick Falls Central School junior Ryan Bloomer had the ultimate tee shot on the seventh hole.

“As soon as I hit it,” said Bloomer, “I knew I had used the right club – it just felt right. I saw the ball kicking towards the flag and then I heard my dad and Coach Lynch shouting.”

“I’ve been playing since I was two years old,” stated Bloomer. “My golf set was my favorite toy growing up.

“My dad has come to every match I’ve ever played,” he added. “He’s my greatest supporter. We were both so excited that the ball went in the hole. It was a great feeling.”
