Panther Golfers Tie For League Title

HF 2.5 at Saratoga Catholic 3.5

Thursday, 9/20. Course: Saratoga Spa Park, par 36. 

Hoosick Falls’ sophomore Matt Smith was the low score of the match with a one-over par round of 37. 

Top scores for Saratoga Catholic included Terel Tillman 41, Garrett Quinn 45, Jack Costantino 46, and Jake Welcome 46.  Other notable scores for Hoosick Falls included: Ryan Bloomer 38 and Miles Smith 49.

Allison Hathaway

The loss drops Hoosick Falls’ record to 12-2 for the season, good enough to share the Wasaren League title with both Greenwich and Saratoga Catholic.

The Panthers will now enter post-season play, competing in the Wasaren League tournament in Troy on Wednesday, September 26.

The following week Ryan Bloomer and Matt Smith will go on to compete in the Section 2 tournament as individuals.

Greenwich 3 at HF 2

Tuesday, 9/18. The team suffered its first loss of the season. The Panthers lost the match by the same score with which they defeated Greenwich during their first meeting back in August. Hoosick Falls junior Ryan Bloomer was the low score of the match with a 3-under par round of 31. Other Panther scores were Matt Smith 37, Miles Smith 49, Allison Hathaway 52, Aidan Breese 52 and Brady Hathaway 54.
