Girls Soccer

  • In Class B, Holy Names is the #1 seed in the upper bracket, with #2 Shalmont in the lower bracket top spot. Number 6 seed Tamarac defeated Cohoes, 4-1,  Thursday at home. The next round finds the Tamarac facing the winner of #3 Voorheesville on Saturday, Oct. 20. Semi-final games will be at Lansingburgh High on Tuesday, Oct. 23, with the championship game at 5:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 26 at Stillwater High.

For Class C girls soccer, Stillwater is the #1 seed in the top bracket, while #2 Lake George heads the lower bracket. On Saturday, Oct. 20, #7 seed Cambridge is home against #10 Greenwich, while #11 seed Hoosick Falls travels to Canajoharie. Both games begin at 1 pm. For the next round, the quarter-finals, all games will be on the home field of the highest remaining seed on Oct. 23, all at 3 pm. The semi-final round of games will be at Lansingburgh High with the upper bracket winners playing Oct. 27 at 5 pm, with the lower bracket (Hoosick Falls, Cambridge) winners  game at 3 pm. Lansingburgh High will host the championship game on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7 pm.

Class D finds New Lebanon playing Salem on Monday, Oct. 22 at 5 pm. Semi-finals will be at Fonda on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 3 pm, with the final at Lansingburgh on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 4 pm.
