Throughout the late morning and early afternoon, people took some time out of their busy day to learn a little more about their health and wellness from a large variety of health care vendors set up inside the Hoosick Falls Armory as part of the annual HAYC3’s Health and Wellness Expo. The day featured Reiki practitioners, skin and health experts, fitness instructors and other vendors offering free workshops, educational programs on common chronic illnesses, as well as free health screenings.
According to HAYC3 Executive Director Aelish Nealon, each year the Wellness Fair provides a great opportunity to learn about preventive measures, both big and small, that can be implemented on a personal level or within a family to improve individual health.
