Field Hockey

The Panthers continued to roll through the regular season upping its record to 16-0 overall and 12-0 league. Over the past  seven games the Ladies outscored their opponents 34-5 and now head into the sectionals on a roll.

Sectional play began on Monday with play-in games. Number 7 Granville defeated #10 Greenwich, 4-0, in the lower bracket game while #9 Cambridge-Salem defeated #8 Ichabod Crane, 6-0 in the upper bracket.

C-S played #1 Johnstown on Wednesday, while #2 seed Hoosick Falls played Granville at HFCS.

Wednesday, Oct. 24, HF plays the winner of  Warrensburg vs. Corinth matchup in a semi-final game at HFCS.

The championship game is scheduled to be held Saturday, October 27, at Gloversville High School beginning at 4 pm.
