Walter B Howard students were excited to meet members of the New Lebanon Protective Association to learn about Fire Safety. Chief Gregg Gilliland crawled around so all the children could see what it looked and sounded like if a firefighter was trying to help you.
Assistant Chief Matt Larabee talked to the students about smoke detectors and how to get out of your home safely. The students loved going outside with firefighter Bud Godfroy and seeing the fire truck. Secretary Eugenia Browning ensured every student received materials about fire safety.
