A barn that has been in the Tomlinson family since 1934 is in the process of being torn down to be refurbished and renovated to help serve a very noble cause. The Antique Barn Company is disassembling the structure at 148 South Road in West Stephentown, and will transport it to New Hampshire where it will be refurbished, and then taken to Colorado where it will be reassembled, and serve as housing for doctors and nurses associated with the “Rivers of Recovery.”

That is a non-profit organization that helps veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by teaching them fly fishing as a stress reducer. The cost of medication for these veterans tends to be drastically reduced after they attend River of Recovery. Much more about the program is available on its Facebook page.
Trig and Isaac Tomlinson are donating the barn, which is of post and beam construction, and believed to date back to the 1830s.
