A crash at the intersection of Routes 22 and 346 Monday morning, November 26, sent one man to the hospital while several others were shaken up. A New York registered Volvo pulled southbound out of Route 346 into the path of a Vermont registered Ford Ranger pickup truck heading north.

The Ranger ripped the front end of the Volvo open, laying down a large puddle of oil and other fluids. The Petersburgh and Town of Hoosick Rescue Squads responded along with the Petersburgh Fire Department and Rensselaer County Sheriffs Department.
