The Petersburgh Public Library is very excited to announce the appointment of Kathryn Hilfinger as the new library director. Kate is a Petersburgh resident who has been part of our community for over two years. She lives here with her husband David and her three children.
Kate comes to us after many years as an assistant professor at Williams College. She looks forward to being more involved with her community and continuing to develop the library as a community hub for education, entertainment, and social connections. She has some wonderful future plans in mind for programs for both adults and children in our community, and is looking forward to a great summer reading program this year.
Kate will be taking over in mid-December, so please plan on stopping by to say Hello!
