Hoosick Falls 12 10 13 20 55
Waterford 10 16 12 14 52
Monday, 2/11. Wasaren League Championship game between division leaders Hoosick Falls and Waterford held at Mechanicville High School.
With the loss last Thursday evening of scorer and leading rebounder Tristan Williams, the Hoosick Falls Panthers needed scoring help from any other players they could get it from. The team scored just enough, especially in the last two minutes, to keep the Wasaren League winning streak alive.

It was nip and tuck throughout the game, Hoosick Falls led at the end of the first quarter, Waterford led at the half. One team would get a four point lead, the other would overcome that and take a four point lead of its own.
With two minutes left in the fourth quarter, Hoosick Falls was down three. With 1:44 left, it was tied at 47 all. Sixty-seven seconds later, at the 37 seconds left mark, the Panthers held a 51-47 lead. Waterford scored on a two to get back within two, but Jon Kempf kept making free throws and the Panthers held on for the win. It came down to foul shots, Hoosick Falls made 11 of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter, with Jon Kempf going eight of eight. Kempf ended the night with 15 points and Max Kipp scored 14.
