Mechanicville 12 12 7 5 36

Saturday, 1/26. A Saturday matinee game saw a competitive first half and a complete blowout second half. The Mechanicville Red Raiders stayed within four of the Indians throughout the first half until the Indians got out ahead by six at 30-24 with less than two minutes left in the second quarter. Whatever happened in the locker room at halftime set off the Indians and they came out to take no prisoners. Outscoring the Raiders by 40-12, Cambridge dominated from the beginning of the second half to the end. Sophie Phillips scored 19, Lilly Phillips added 16 and Fiona Mooney chipped in 14.

Hoosick Falls Panther Lillian Hickey, left, looks to pass out from underneath the hoop Friday evening. The Panthers started out slow but chipped away until they got within four points but from there the Mechanicville Raiders pulled away.
