Hoosick Falls 17 14 16 18 65

Saturday, 2/16. Logan Thayne dropped in 32 points and hauled in 17 rebounds as the Class C #7 seeded Hoosick Falls Panthers won its first round sectional game. The Panthers got out to a 31-8 halftime lead and it appeared they would cruise to the win.  Number 10 seeded Middleburgh whittled away at the lead by scoring 25 third quarter points and got within 12 points in the mid-second half. But Hoosick Falls kept its poise and held on to get the win. Kelsy Terrell scored 20 points and Hallie Gasner added 11 for Middleburgh.

Saturday, 2/16. Class B #1 seeded Tamarac held the #17 seeded B-P scoreless in the first quarter and to eight points at the end of three quarters to cruise to the win. Syrita Faraj scored 13 points while Emily Erickson and Kate Machnick each added ten.

Cambridge 26 13 11 16 66

Saturday, 2/16. The Class C #1 seeded Cambridge Indians outscored the #16 seeded Canajoharie Cougars Saturday to take a 39-10  lead and cruise to a win. Lilly Phillips scored 27 points and Sophie Phillips added 22 for the Indians.
